so, about me. I am a general computer nerd and music geek. my computing platform of choice is the Macintosh running OS X. I have 3 real jobs (their realness varies, however) and any number of projects on my plate at any one given point in time. I can be rented for systems integration consulting if need be. my primary jobs require me to be a Web applications developer (primarily using PHP apps that utilize SQL backends) and selling product to customers, and I seem to do both pretty well.
musically speaking, my tastes are varied and incongruent. I used to be a metalhead in my earlier days (wasn’t everyone?) but now don’t much listen to it. don’t care much for most modern hiphop/rap and country (the older stuff tends to be better and OK though). favorites include Elvis Costello, Boards of Canada, Sigur Rós, Nine Inch Nails, Billy Corgan, Elbow, etc. etc. etc. - there’s far too many to list. I’m somewhat musically inclined; I’ve played guitar since about 7th grade (preceded by a stint in trumpet from 5th to 7th) and have been meaning to get into piano but lack decent equipment.
personal blog is mainly for talking about computing stuff and (when I get burned out) whatever else is nifty, and then sometimes nothing at all.
